March 3

Yesterday while visiting Kasey we had 2 short hail storms and snow, so he was pretty happy just staring out the window last night. He is always curious about new things, so our trip to Kiev next week and everything that happens after will be quite the experience for him.
Our facilitator started his search for Kasey's original birth certificate. He was born not too far from where we are, so it's not too far away. Unfortunately they had some sort of scandal at that courthouse, some woman sold some land and took the money. So, the courthouse has been closed, and he can't get a hold of anybody to help him yet. He is working on it. I'll keep you posted.
We had a another good morning visit with no tantrums from Scott or Kasey :)
He's kept himself busy this morning playing with his toys. We didn't go outside because it's pretty muddy out.
That's all for now,
Shan

I hope the facilator doesn't have any problems finding the birth certificate. Is there a reward for finding that lady? Kasey is really going to be in for a lot of changes, the ride home alone. Bring a lot of interesting things with you on the plane. You might want to think about bringing food that he eats with you so that he doesn't get sick,If you can do that. Not the soup though. Love you guys

Scott and Shannon, glad everything is going well there! It's great news! Didn't know how to contact you so I'm using this blog. Ken Anderson (Mike's Dad)passed suddenly Thursday night (peacefully). Have funeral on Wednesday. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Can't wait to see the proud parents in action. Hooter.

It sounds like Kasey is an amazing little guy! I hope the birth certificate doesn't end up holding anything up!
